ARTWORK AT LKH

Works of Art created by our residents and clients during Arts and Craft sessions conducted by our Rehab Team.

OUR LONG-SERVING STAFF

Staff who have been part of our LKH family for twenty years and more...
Here's what they have to say about the experience:

Ms Ong

Caretaker

We love to serve and serve with love.
To me, LKH is a home where we provide quality and compassionate care to our beloved residents.

Mr Nimal

Senior Healthcare Assistant

Thanks to LKH, I am able to raise my children from birth till now, when they are working and independent. I am forever grateful to my colleagues who are my family away from home. Thank you LKH for being here for me.

Ms Chi

Nursing Manager

Beyond a workplace, LKH is home to me. I grew up in this big family and my colleagues are like my siblings. It is an honour to serve the residents here and I find it most rewarding to know that we've made a difference in their lives.

Ms Lau

Cleaner

Our home exists to serve and care for our residents, making each day beautiful for them.

Ms Jeudilyn

Senior Nursing Aide

L - Loving

K - Kindness

H - Home

I have learnt to value our residents and gotten more skillful in the field of Nursing. I cherish all the beautiful memories I've made with our residents, next-of-kin, and staff with whom I've journeyed. Thank you LKH.

Ms Khine

Senior Nursing Aide

Though I'm separated from my family, I have made many friends who have become like my family. Each day, I just want to do my best. I'm grateful for what LKH has provided for me.

Ms Cheryl Ann

Senior Nursing Aide

I've undergone ITE training to develop my career, and have been promoted from Nursing Aide (NA) to Senior NA. Even though it has not been easy, but I've learnt life lessons, wisdom to face challenges, and caring for the elderly through serving our residents. Thank you LKH for the years of learning and memories.

FARM OF HOPE

Our edible farm lovingly created and maintained by volunteers.

Where it's located

Thanks to their hard work, the previously vacant space located near the entrance gate has now transformed into a farm sprawling with edible vegetables, flowers, herbs, and more.

How it's going

Every week, the volunteers continue to tend to the garden, ensuring a bountiful harvest that benefits the staff and residents of LKHSC.

We invite you to take a walk through it at your next visit!

The beginning

In March 2022, despite COVID-19 restrictions, dedicated volunteers from Hope worldwide Singapore (HwwS) gathered to lay the foundations of the farm.

What it has

Some examples include: sweet potato leaf, spinach, sayur manis, chives, chilli padi, spearmint, holy basil, coriander, spiral ginger.
